Development of a modern serviced apartment-hotel containing meeting rooms and office facilities. The project will contain approximately 200 rooms. Including a skybar and rooftop restaurant.
This development is located in the vicinity of residential area ‘Groenewoud’. The Municipality and Loostad want to realize housing in the area north of the ‘Prins Claus’ Bridge. For this the asphalt power plant needs to be relocated. On May 12, 2017, a Letter Of Intent was signed for this purpose in which the Municipality of Utrecht, Loostad and KWS take a big step towards this target.
There is an area of 24 hectares located between the ‘Prins Claus’ Bridge and the Taatsendijk. About 1000 to 1500 homes can be built there. This area is characterized by its location on the ‘Amsterdam Rijnkanaal’. It is also located near facilities such as Shopping Center Kanaleneiland and Leidsche Rijn Centrum. By 2022 this part of Utrecht will be a beautiful place to live for 1000 to 1.500 households in various target groups.
